Google announced a major update to Antigravity 2.0 at Google I/O 2026, claiming it is driven by Agents. However, the actual result was a disaster: quotas dropped drastically, and user configurations were lost, showing that the world is indeed a giant messy setup.
But Google has launched a series of remedial measures:

Many users found that the familiar Antigravity code editor disappeared after the update: opening Antigravity again only showed a standalone Agent application closer to the Codex form.
